7x60W Audio Power Amplifier
ROSSO 760 is a multichannel power amplifier with seven high-performance channels using the most recent technologies of digital audio amplification. Each channel delivers a natural and a very wide detailed sound stage, showing the best sonic attributes of solid state (tight and precise bass, dynamics, high reliability) together with the SET tube characteristics (midrange warmth, rich tonalities and a smooth non-fatiguing listening).
Thanks to the DDP™ (Digital Power Processing) technology from Tripath©, the amplifier combines an audiophile sound with a very high efficiency. That means that a small amount of power is dissipated into heat making feasible the use of a valuable wood enclosure.
The ROSSO 760 power amplifier finds natural application in high-end audio home theater systems where several different channel are requested (5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 systems). However, thanks to its versatility, it also finds interesting applications in the "pure stereo" field, making easy to implement bi-amplification or tri-amplification.
Besides, two or more channels can be paralleled increasing the output power and lowering the minimun output impedance requested. For instance, you can parallel tree channels so to get a single channel with a nominal power of 3x60=180W over a load of 4/3=1.3 ohms; a useful setup for driving some low impedance electrostatic loudspeakers.

so to have very short interconnection paths and high noise immunity.
- PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) with wide planes and increased
copper thickness.
- Very short signal paths (output connectors are soldered directly on the printed board -> no cable/wiring effects).
- All the electronic circuits are completely enclosed
into a die cast aluminium box -> high shielding effect and better EMC performances. - The electronic components are encapsulated in potting compound to prevent mechanical vibration and to ensure a good heat transfer.
- Low ESR power supply capacitors placed directly across
the supply planes of the PCB.
- Power supply makes use of large tank capacitors and ultra-fast recovery rectifier diodes -> negligible hum and rectification noise.
- Dual-Air-Core output inductors for a crystal sound,
free of any magnetic core distortion.
- Gold plated inputs and outputs connectors.
- Trigger input connector for remote Power On/Standby.
- Front Touch Sensor for manual Power On/Standby.
- Microprocessor servo assisted power On, pop free outputs.
- Blue LED lamp indicator (Power On/Off/ Standby).
- Hand made wood cabinet finished according to the
best Florentine artisan tradition. Standard finish in walnut veneer with solid walnut edging and trims
(Italian walnut wood). Other furniture grades
available.
- Laser etched metal plate. Custom plates available
upon request. - Each ROSSO amplifier is supplied with its own certificate
of origin and quality.
